Oz Pottery is Jeff Goodman. He retired from a career in broadcast design at WYFF 4 in 2018 and began his vocation as a potter throughout 2019, building the studio next to his home.
For the first 3 years, Jeff did mostly functional pottery on the wheel. When medical procedures in 2022 got him off the wheel for a while, he discovered hand building and sculptural work, and now often combines the skill
Oz is fully functional. We have four wheels, two kilns and mix our own glazes. We offer classes and date nights / girls' night out sessions. Come to the studio for a tour and see the wall graphics created by April T... they are amazing!
